Ya ever see literally dozens of pictures of someone but you can't at all keep a picture of them in your mind because they all look like different people to your ape brain?

@phillyis i think part of it is people actually looking different in photos due to various angles and lighting; i think it can also be caused by poor facial memory; i have a lot of trouble with facial recognition and i think it's due to me being autistic 😅 i have trouble remembering what my parents and siblings look like just based on memory alone even though i've spent more time with them than anyone else
@phillyis are you wanting an explanation as to why that might be?
